Short description

Neo Hub Basic is a smart solution for sharing one set of B&O BeoLab speakers between two different audio sources. Use it – as an example – to connect both a non-B&O TV (with Neo 7) and a B&O sound system – or two B&O devices – to the same speaker set. Simple, efficient and designed for full B&O compatibility.

Technical description

Neo Hub Basic makes it possible to combine two B&O Powerlink-sources for one set Powerlinkspeakers. It works perfectly in setups where you want to share BeoLab speakers between, for example:

A non-B&O TV via Neo 7 and a B&O system
Two different B&O products (e.g. BeoSound + BeoVision)

The device automatically controls signal priority and ensures seamless transition between sources.

NeoVision 7 & Neo Hub Basic – classic shape, new technology

In the picture you see an iconic Beovision 7, which has been upgraded with Neo 7, so it now has a modern LG TVThe stand rotates like the original, and the sound from the new TV is delivered digitally to Beolab 8000 and a Beolab 7.4 center speaker – precise and stylish.

At the same time, it plays classic Beosound 3000 – with CD and FM – now also Internet Radio via Neo RadioIt's true B&O sound from both the past and the present.

Between the two systems work Neo Hub Basic, which automatically distributes the speakers between the TV and the sound system. A compact and discreet solution that ensures maximum sound and flexibility in the home – without compromising on design or function.

In this setup, Beosound 5 og Beosound Core – two digital media streamers from different B&O generations – connected Neo Hub BasicBoth deliver high-quality digital audio, but where one focuses on the tactile and iconic control wheel, the other brings modern streaming and AirPlay into the home.

At the exit sits a set of elegant Beolab 12 wall speakers with built-in ICEpower amplifiers – known for their discreet design and powerful sound.

Neo Hub Basic ensures that the speakers switch intelligently between the two sources. When you select Beosound 5 or Core, Neo Hub Basic detects the signal and automatically activates the correct source – without manual switching or compromise.
