Neo TV can be easily updated with the latest software directly via the Internet. An update ensures that your product functions optimally and gives you access to the latest improvements and features.
Neo TV makes it possible to get Bang & Olufsen sound on a non-B&O TV.

The remote controls have four coloured buttons – red, green, yellow and blue – which are used for different functions depending on the TV you have selected as a profile. On Beo4 and Beoremote One, some buttons can also be used with a double press, which gives quick access to extra functions and settings. If you have selected Samsung as your TV profile, a double press of the green button gives access to a special Samsung menu, where you can find extra functions that only apply to this profile. The table below gives you a general overview of how the coloured buttons and P+ and P− work on the two remote controls – both single and double press – when using Neo 7 or Neo TV - together with your TV. |
How to update software on Neo TV
We know it from our mobile phones or computers – every now and then new software comes out that needs to be installed. If you choose to update the software, it will be updated to the latest version.
- Connect to the internet:
Plug a network cable with an internet connection into the socket marked "Internet" of Neo TV. - Connect power:
Connect the power supply to Neo TV. - Turn off the TV:
Press Stand-by button to turn off the TV. - Wait 2 minutes:
Make sure the TV is completely turned off. Alternatively, you can remove the power to the TV. - Start the update:
Use Beo4 or Beoremote One and press:

If the software update failed – the product restarts with the previous software version.

An optical toslink cable must be connected between Neo TV and your new TV. It can be purchased above.
From Neo TV Do you need a B&O? powerlink cable to your Beolab speakers. There are many options. Remember that the output on Neo TV is RJ45 connector, which is the new powerlink connector from B&O.
