Neo 7 - Software update
We know it from the mobile phone or the computer – every once in a while new software comes out that needs to be installed.
If you choose to update the software, it will be updated to the latest version.
If you want to update the software, you must do the following:
- Connect a network cable with internet connection to the connector labeled “Internet” on Neo 7 Adapter
- Connect the power supply
- Switch off the TV by pressing the Stand-by button
- Wait 2 minutes, so that you are sure that the TV is completely switched off (alternatively remove the power to the TV)
- With Beo4 or Remote One press: MENU 9 8 7 6 GO

If the update failed, the product restarts with the previous software version.

In software version 6 to Neo 7 og Neo TV The functions of the Beo4 and Beoremote One remote controls have been updated to match televisions from, among others, LG, Samsung, Philips, Sony, Loewe and Panasonic. The remote controls have four coloured buttons – red, green, yellow and blue – which are used for different functions depending on the TV you have selected as a profile. On Beo4 and Beoremote One, some buttons can also be used with a double press, which gives quick access to extra functions and settings. If you have selected Samsung as your TV profile, a double press of the green button gives access to a special Samsung menu, where you can find extra functions that only apply to this profile. The table below gives you a general overview of how the coloured buttons and P+ and P− work on the two remote controls – both single and double press – when using Neo 7 or Neo TV - together with your TV. |
